Mr. Barksdale founded BV Advisory Partners to develop partnerships with experienced operators whom have the ability through technology and innovation to disrupt their respective industries including Healthcare, Media, Telecommunications, Energy and Technology. Mr. Barksdale believes that capital is a commodity and just one of the tools needed by executives in building a successful enterprise. Mr. Barksdale has had a leading role in over $10 billion of financings. First, during a decade on Wall Street as a Senior Institution Equity Salesperson at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, National Westminster Bank and Kidder Peabody & Co., covering premier global asset managers. Post DLJ being acquired by Credit Suisse, Mr. Barksdale developed a focus as an investor in disruptive technologies and in identifying industry level mega trends. As a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Masters Capital, where he was a member of a team managing over $650 million in assets that achieved net annual returns of 55 percent, Mr. Barksdale was responsible for building Masters Capital Research and oversaw 30 consultants in multiple industry sectors, including technology, healthcare and telecom. Prior to founding BV Advisory Partners, Mr. Barksdale was a Managing Director at Ledgemont Capital Group and Indigo Merchant Capital Group, where he was involved in capital raising, management recruiting, and overall strategic and financial advisory services to over 40 growth stage companies. Mr. Barksdale graduated with a BA in English and History from Hampden-Sydney College in 1993.
Mr. Cameron is a Senior Associate at BV Advisory Partners. Prior to joining BV Advisory Partners, Mr. Cameron was an Associate at Barksdale Global Holdings, a middle-market consulting firm providing Financial and Operational Advisory Services to companies in the T.M.T. (Technology, Media & Telecommunications), Industrials & Energy sectors. Previously, Mr. Cameron worked in Sales & Business Development for Versatile Systems, an innovative technology company offering solutions and services to retail, distribution and enterprise IT markets. Mr. Cameron began his career at Ledgemont Capital Group, a boutique merchant bank combining traditional investment banking with principal investing, targeting middle-market companies. Mr. Cameron graduated from Hampden-Sydney College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics & Commerce in 2010.
